HeyPulse connects directly to 7shifts, Square Team, BambooHR, and Gusto — paste an API key during onboarding (or in Settings) and your live roster syncs in seconds, with one-click re-sync afterwards. Every other system works through smart CSV import: HeyPulse accepts CSV, TSV, and semicolon-delimited roster files, auto-detects the provider format, and maps names, phones, emails, roles, and custom metadata.

HeyPulse detects common providers, shows mapped columns, counts ready employees, and lists skipped inactive or incomplete rows before anything is written.
If a customer export uses names like Contact, Payroll Key, Store, or Work Group, choose those headers for email, employee ID, location, or role in the mapping review.
Unmapped columns are stored as custom metadata, including region, shift, permissions, pay type, org level, certification, cost center, or any HRIS-specific field.
Admins can edit each employee profile, target scheduled pulses by role/location/department/custom metadata, and export the roster with metadata intact.
