Last Updated: July 9, 2026
At Berry Street Research Group LLC, the company that owns and operates the HeyPulse product ("HeyPulse," "we," "us," or "our"), we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal data. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our website, mobile messaging services, and analytics dashboard (collectively, the "Services"). HeyPulse is not a separate legal entity; it is a product of Berry Street Research Group LLC.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide better services to our users. The categories of information we collect include:
- Account Information: When employers register for HeyPulse, we collect company name, contact email, billing details, and employee roster data (names and phone numbers).

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate, maintain, and improve our team feedback and analytics Services.

- To use AI service providers for roster field mapping, business-profile suggestions, pulse-question generation, and analysis of employee response text.
- To process transactions, manage account subscriptions, and send administrative updates.

- To respond to customer support inquiries and enforce our terms of service.
3. Text Messaging (SMS) Disclosures & Compliance
Berry Street Research Group LLC operates the HeyPulse Workplace Check-Ins messaging program for frontline employees. Employers configure their own rosters, schedules, and workplace check-in topics inside the HeyPulse dashboard, but Berry Street Research Group LLC is the registered sender and legal operator of the messaging program.
- Opt-In Consent: Mobile phone numbers are collected when an employer adds an employee roster, connects a workforce provider, or manually adds an employee profile. Employers must certify that each employee with a mobile number has consented to receive recurring automated HeyPulse workplace check-in text messages from Berry Street Research Group LLC before that number is enrolled. Consent is specific to this check-in service, is not a condition of employment, and is never gathered through deceptive or misleading practices.
- Opt-Out (STOP): You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text STOPto any message you receive from HeyPulse by Berry Street Research Group LLC. Once you send "STOP", we will send you an SMS confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive check-in messages from us.
- Re-Opt-In (START): If you previously opted out, you can resume check-ins at any time by texting START or UNSTOP. We will confirm your re-subscription by SMS.
- Help (HELP): For assistance or questions, text HELP to any message, or contact our support team at support@tryheypulse.com.
- Rates & Frequency: Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us or from you to us. Message frequency varies depending on the roster and schedule configured by your employer in HeyPulse (typically 1 to 3 check-ins per week).
- Carrier Liability:Mobile carriers (including but not limited to T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. Information Sharing and Non-Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help operate HeyPulse, including database hosting, messaging, email, billing, AI gateway, and model providers. Their handling of data is governed by applicable contracts, security controls, and provider privacy terms.
AI processing may include employee response text and limited roster-file previews containing names, contact fields, roles, and other columns supplied by an employer. AI providers may retain request, response, trace, and usage data to operate, secure, evaluate, and improve their services, subject to their terms and our vendor-governance requirements.
🔒 Carrier-Compliant Privacy Guarantee:
No mobile phone numbers or opt-in consent data collected through our SMS service will be shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties except service providers that process messages, analyze responses, or otherwise operate the HeyPulse product for Berry Street Research Group LLC under applicable privacy and security obligations.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security procedures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. Roster data is encrypted at rest using Firestore AES-256 standards, and all client-to-server traffic is forced over HTTPS protocols.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you. Frontline workers can request roster removal at any time through their shift manager or by emailing our privacy desk.
Website visitors can opt out of HeyPulse advertising measurement in this browser using the on-site measurement control. When opted out, HeyPulse stops sending browser-based advertising conversion events from that browser to supported ad platforms.
